In a bid to transform a long-aged class of political system that only constitutes males, and to appropriately smooth out gender equality politically, APC Progressive Young Women Forum has considered it appropriate to convey a national conference to address women’s participation in the nation’s building.
Amb. Martha Agba the progressive young women forum state Representative who is also the Senior Special Assistant on Humanitarian Affairs to the Cross River State government applauded APC Progressive Young Women Forum as the conference arrives at a positive resolution. She stated that the ’emergence of young women in politics is a stride that is determined to work in a unified form to make sure that women hold major political positions both in parties and in government.’
The conference which was tagged ONE VOICE, uniting women for progress: made it all possible that women unanimously agreed to make bold statements upon which a communique was issued, among them, which is a 70% discount should be given to women in purchase of party forms.’
The conference which was graced by Her Excellency Dr. Mrs. Aisha Buhari unveiled and launched The Progressive Women Academy App (PWA), which its essential purpose is to train 20 million APC women in politics within 2 years.
